The trailer of Aakhri Sach has been released, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia as the investigative officer. This crime investigative thriller revolves around a tragic event that unfolds within a family one night. The series promises to uncover numerous mysteries and delve deep into the lives of its intriguing characters.
Aakhri Sach is said to be inspired by the Burari deaths that shook Delhi in 2018. Directed by Robbie Grewal and written by Saurav Dey, this series also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij, and Sanjeev Chopra.
The director of Aakhri Sach stated, “The series was developed with the aim of telling a story about a complex case from the perspective of the police.”
Tamannaah Bhatia expressed, “When I came across the series, it immediately struck a chord with me. This character is very special to me because it’s the first time I’m portraying a police officer in a long-format production, and also because of the emotional vulnerability that Aakhri Sach showcases through the character of Anya.”
Abhishek Banerjee also shared his thoughts on portraying Bhuvan in Disney+ Hotstar’s Aakhri Sach, saying, “Aakhri Sach delves into the darkest corners of the human mind. The process of bringing this character to life has been a challenging one that I was thrilled to embark on as soon as I received the script. I believe the audience will be captivated by the raw emotions and thought-provoking revelations that Aakhri Sach offers, and I can’t wait for everyone to watch it on Disney+ Hotstar.”
Aakhri Sach will make its premiere on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on August 25.
