The ongoing pay dispute has created an impasse between the two parties, resulting in players refusing to engage with the media on game days.
In an interview with Wide World of Sports’ The Billy Slater Podcast, Slater expressed his frustration with the situation in no uncertain terms.

“Seriously, it’s time to grow up. Both parties need to mature and find a resolution to this issue,” he stated.
