Considering the timing of this leak, it seemed like a Comic-Con announcement for the Fantastic Four cast was a real possibility. It makes sense to introduce these characters early, especially if there are plans to tease them in post-credit scenes.
However, something has changed since the last casting leak. Marvel has pushed back the release date for almost all of its Phase 5 and Phase 6 movies, including Fantastic Four. The movie is now set to release on May 2nd, 2025, instead of February 14th. This delay gives Marvel more time to negotiate the cast and it appears that this is currently happening.
