Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the commuters ahead of the Australi vs Netherlands ICC Cricket World Cup match scheduled to take place at Arun Jaitley Stadium on 25 October.
The Australia vs Netherlands World Cup match will start from 2 pm to 10:30 pm on Wednesday.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police’s latest advisory, “There will be a diversion of traffic for half an hour after the conclusion of the match”.
Entries of all heavy vehicles, including buses will be barred on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Delhi gate to JLN Marg, from Darya Ganj to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road.
The Delhi Traffic Police has requested people to avoid these routes (Raj Ghat to JLN Marg; JLN Marg from R/A Kamla Market to Raj Ghat; Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate and Bahadurshah Zafar Marg from Ram Charan Agarwal Chowk to Dlehi Gate ) from 12 pm to 11:30 pm on Wednesday (25 October).

PARKING FOR LABELED CARS
Further informing about the parking space, the Delhi traffic police said, “Limited parking space is available for labeled vehicles in the proximity to the stadium. Display of car parking label on the windscreen is mandatory”.
“Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road =, JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road, or Bahadurshah Zafar Marg. Entry to parking lots P1, P3, and P4 shall be allowed from the Bahadurshah Zafar marg only from near the Petrol Pump,” it added.
Notable no vehicle will be allowed to be parked on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Flyover on the match day.
PARKING FOR UN-LABELED CARS
Spectators, who have unlabeled vehicles can park cars at–Mata Sundari Parking, Shanti Van Parking, and under Velodrome Road.
Buses can start their services 2 hours before the match and will continue till one hour after the start of the match.
The bus service from the stadium will start after the game ends and will continue for one hour after that.
Spectators using app-based taxis and other taxis will have to use the service lane on Ring Road between IP flyover and Rajghat crossing for drop and pickup.
METRO ROUTE:
To reach Arun Jaitely Stadium, people can exit from Delhi Gate metro station (Gate 4 and 5) and ITO (Gate 3,4 and 5).
