A teaser trailer for Clive Bradley & Kevin Kolde’s upcoming anime series, Castlevania: Nocturne, will be released this Thursday. Along with the trailer, we also have a poster and some new details about the show.
Over the past few days, fans of the “Castlevania” series have been given early glimpses of what to expect from Clive Bradley & Kevin Kolde’s Castlevania: Nocturne, which will premiere on Netflix on September 28th. Today, it was announced that a teaser trailer will be released this Thursday. The series is set during the French Revolution and follows a group of heroes (Edward Bluemel, Pixie Davies, Thuso Mbedu, Sydney James Harcourt & Nastassja Kinski) as they face a dark threat that could bring about the end of the world.
Castlevania: Nocturne is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and series creator/writer Clive Bradley. It is produced by Project 51 Productions, with animation provided by Powerhouse Animation. Edward Bluemel stars as Richter, the young protagonist who continues his family’s vampire hunting tradition.
Pixie Davies plays Maria, a leader fighting for equality and using her magic to combat the vampire elite.
Thuso Mbedu portrays Annette, a powerful magic user who escaped vampire enslavement in the Caribbean.
Sydney James Harcourt portrays Edouard, a former opera singer who aids Annette in her mission.
Nastassja Kinski plays Tera, a mother and mentor to young vampire hunters and magic users.
Zahn McClarnon takes on the role of Olrox, who killed Richter’s mother and must decide whether to team up with his sworn enemy to stop the vampires.
Franka Potente portrays Erzsebet Báthory, the queen of vampires and the supposed savior of the vampire race.
