For those who are due to move abroad in the coming weeks or months, Inez Cooper, founder of international health insurance company William Russell, says it might be best to “delay” getting vaccinated until settled overseas.

“The vaccination roll-out is being pushed across the world as countries try to deal with the coronavirus pandemic,” she said.

“Even though travel is under the most stringent of restrictions, people will still move all around the world to go and live in different countries, but what should you do if your big move comes between your first and second dose of vaccination?

“Whilst, in theory, you can get your second dose abroad, it may not fall within the allotted time needed to provide cover from the illness.
