James Martin fears he’s been mistakenly ‘struck off’ NHS records amid Covid jab issue | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
James Martin, 48, is among the age group that are currently being vaccinated against coronavirus, but the ITV chef admitted he’s run into some problems and therefore hasn’t been contacted for his yet. As stated on the NHS website at time of writing, all over 40s can book in for their vaccinations as well as those considered vulnerable and are at higher risk of contracting the virus.
But during an appearance on pal Chris Evans’ Virgin Radio show, James revealed he hasn’t been able to book one because he believes he’s been accidentally “struck off” NHS records.
“What’s the regime Covid test wise?” Chris asked on Tuesday morning.
James replied: “I’ve got two medicals this week and I’m still trying to get my jab…”

James continued: “Well, because of that are you striked off or whatever?”
Chris explained that if he’s still having problems further down the line, the NHS have pop-up walk in places which offer spare doses that are available to those unable to book an appointment but fall into the criteria for vaccinations.
“We could probably find you one,” he encouraged, hoping to help his friend out.
James thanked him, saying: “We’re getting there, I spent about three hours on the phone the other day, so we’re getting there!” he laughed.
