Kartik Aaryan to Be Honored at 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne – Here’s More Information

Kartik Aaryan, known for his incredible performances and dedication, has successfully carved a niche for himself in the Hindi film industry without any familial background. He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” in 2011, and since then, he has been unstoppable. He has delivered some of the biggest blockbusters of the previous decade and received immense praise for his films released on OTT platforms as well.

Now, the 32-year-old actor is set to receive the prestigious Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award at the 14th annual Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. This remarkable achievement will be presented to him by the Governor of Victoria, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema.

Kartik’s response to this honor

Expressing his gratitude for the honor he will receive at the IFFM, Kartik Aaryan said, “I am deeply honored and grateful to the Victorian government and the festival for this prestigious award. I am humbled to be celebrated at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.”

“It is a tremendous privilege to receive this recognition for my work in Indian cinema. I have always believed in the power of storytelling and the ability of films to touch hearts and inspire minds. I look forward to celebrating the magic of cinema together,” he added.

2022 was a challenging year for Bollywood, but Kartik’s movie “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” was among the few films that performed exceptionally well at the box office.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, scheduled from August 11 to 20, aims to celebrate the diversity and richness of Indian cinema. The festival will feature multiple screenings of Kartik’s movies, including “Satyaprem Ki Katha” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.”

The festival will also honor filmmaker Karan Johar for completing 25 successful years in Bollywood. Karan Johar began his directorial journey with the release of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” in 1998, starring Shah Rukh Khan. After a seven-year break, he is returning as a director with “Rocky Aur Ranii Ki Prem Kahaani,” featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
