Riot Games, the developer behind the highly popular games League Of Legends and Valorant, has just announced that Yasuo, The Unforgiven, will be joining Project L. This upcoming fighting game project by Riot Games has already revealed an exciting roster of characters, and players will have the opportunity to play as Yasuo this weekend at Evo 2023.
Since his debut in League Of Legends, Yasuo has been known as one of the most formidable opponents to face in the mid-lane due to his exceptional ability to outplay and outdamage his enemies. In Project L, the developers have designed Yasuo as a versatile champion who can adapt to any situation.
The newly released trailer showcases Yasuo’s agility and versatility, highlighting his ability to swiftly dash, execute combos, and utilize his signature Wind Wall, which can block any incoming projectiles. Interestingly, the trailer does not feature Yasuo’s other signature move, the tornado, suggesting that this may not be a long-ranged projectile attack like one would typically expect.
Who else will join Project L?
The trailer also introduces other champions who will be featured in the game. Darius, a powerful Noxian brute, retains his ability to build up extra damage by consecutively hitting enemies, just like in League of Legends. Ekko, an unpredictable trickster, will utilize his chrono-abilities to repeat successful combos. Additionally, the trailer gives a glimpse of Ahri, a swift and agile sorcerer with both speed and long-ranged abilities. Riot Games has also confirmed that Illaoi and Jinx, the fan-favorite star of Arcane, will be joining the roster, although their gameplay is yet to be revealed.
The trailer also hints at the amazing combos that players will be able to execute by pairing these characters together. However, what sets Project L apart is the ability to play in duo co-op mode with a friend, staying true to the essence of League Of Legends.
Although Project L does not have a confirmed release date yet, fans can expect regular updates in the weeks and months ahead.
