Actor Mini Mathur has taken on a Twitter troll head on and asked them to spend their time doing better work. Mathur has been one of those celebrities who’ve been amplifying SOS calls amidst the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic that is raging across the country right now. She had shared a message seeking medicines for someone when a troll commented asking if her husband, filmmaker Kabir Khan’s finances were okay.
“Heard your husband has become bankrupt due to investment in ’83. Is it true?” the troll wrote, talking about the Ranveer Singh starrer whose release has been pushed because of the pandemic. “Use your extra time to help someone in distress please,” Mathur shot back. The troll deleted their comment later. ’83 also stars Deepika Padukone opposite Singh. The film is based on India’s 1983 win in the Cricket World Cup. The film was supposed to release last year but was pushed to June this year. However, given the serious condition of the country right now, the future of the film remains uncertain. This is the case with most Bollywood films at the moment.
