Penrith rookie Jesse McLean has been charged after gifting the Eels a possible eight-point try on Thursday night.
McLean was attempting to stop Parramatta winger Maika Sivo scoring his second try of the night, but his efforts were in vain.
As Sivo flew for the tryline McLean rushed to put a hit on his opponent, but a swinging right arm caught the Eel across the face.

Sivo scored the try successfully but was left groggy after the McLean hit.
”If they’re going to be consistent this should be a sin-bin,” Andrew Johns said in commentary for Nine.
But rather than McLean being sent from the field, the Eels were awarded a possible eight-point try.
A referee can award a possible eight-point try if a player is fouled in the act of scoring.
Eels captain Clint Gutherson missed the initial conversion attempt from out wide, but then kicked the penalty from in front to add only six points, in what was a stroke of luck for McLean.
