Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will receive exciting new DLC content in the upcoming month, along with a special event featuring Mew and Mewtwo.
The Pokémon Company has unveiled two major updates for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The game is set to receive a thrilling new event and fresh DLC. The DLC, titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,” will be released in two parts this year. The first part, called “The Teal Mask,” is scheduled for release on September 13th. It will allow players to explore a new region that was briefly introduced in the main storyline, but now takes center stage as the destination for an exciting school trip. Additionally, a special event called “Get Mew & Mewtwo” will begin on August 31st. Players will have the opportunity to track down and capture these legendary creatures as they make their debut in the game. More details about both events can be found below.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask
The first installment of the highly anticipated DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, for the popular Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, is set to launch on September 13, 2023. In “The Teal Mask,” players embark on a school trip to the enchanting land of Kitakami. This trip is a collaboration between their academy and another school, and offers the opportunity to encounter Pokémon not found in the Paldea region. Players will also unravel the mysteries surrounding an ancient Kitakami folktale. A preview of “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” can be viewed here. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Get Mew & Mewtwo! In-Game Event
An exciting in-game event, “Get Mew & Mewtwo!,” is taking place in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to introduce the mythical Pokémon Mew and the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo to the Paldea region. Starting today and running until September 18, 2023, at 7:59 a.m. PDT, players can add Mew to their team by entering the password “GETY0URMEW” in the Mystery Gift menu. Furthermore, a special Tera Raid Battle event will be held from August 31, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to September 17, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. During this event, players have the chance to challenge and capture a Mewtwo with the powerful Mightiest Mark.
