In a highly-anticipated announcement, Asus has finally revealed the official launch date for its ROG Ally handheld gaming console.
The gaming industry giants have announced that the AMD Ryzen Z1 processor variant of the console will be available in India starting from July 12. This handheld console boasts a 7-inch FHD IPS display, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 SSD storage. The company has announced that the console will be available for purchase at Asus Exclusive Stores, Asus eShop, and Flipkart.
In addition, there will be a special flash sale on July 7 exclusively on Flipkart, which will last for one day only.
As for pricing, the console will retail for ₹69,990, approximately $850. This is $150 higher than the $699 price of the ROG Ally AMD Ryzen 1 processor variant in the United States.
The July 12 launch of the ROG Ally handheld console in India comes with several promotional offers. The first 200 customers who purchase the console from Asus Exclusive Stores and the Asus eShop will receive a free ROG Ally case worth ₹2000.
