Rani Mukerji Celebrates Indian Cinema in Australia in a Timeless Sabyasachi Saree

To commemorate the 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, actor Rani Mukerji draped an ivory and gold saree and paired it with Amrapali silver gold plated earrings.

The Queen of Hearts, Rani Mukerji once again mesmerised everyone at the Australian Parliament House, where she was invited to celebrate Indian cinema. Looking radiant in an ivory and gold saree designed by couturier Sabyasachi Mukerjee, Rani exuded grace and elegance as she passionately shared her love for cinema at the event.

To commemorate the 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, which will be held from August 15 to August 25, 2024. Celebrating Indian cinema in Australia, Rani’s traditional drape added a desi touch to her elegant style. The intricate embroidery detailing and the luminous gold border of the saree added a timeless elegance to Rani’s stunning personality.

Rani paired the six-yards of sheer elegance with earrings from Amrapali Jewels. The silver gold plated earrings are from the brand’s Baahubali collection. The highlight of these earrings are the chain drops that add a hint of drama to the overall piece of jewellery.

Celebrity makeup and hair artist, Namrata Soni, took to instagram to share a couple of images of Rani’s look of the day. The awards night which will be hosted on August 16, will have celebrities including Ram Charan, Vikrant Massey, Kartik Aaryan, AR Rahman, Malaika Arora, Nora Fatehi among others in attendance.
