Take-Two CEO Reveals Rockstar’s Intentions to Deliver ‘Something Never Seen Before’ With the Franchise’s Long-Awaited Successor to GTA V

“It [new GTA game] needs to be something you’ve never seen before on the one hand, and it needs to reflect the feeling we have about Grand Theft Auto,” said Zelnick. “That’s a big challenge for the team.”
Zelnick later pointed out that Rockstar’s mantra has always been to, “seek nothing short of perfection and we’ll get there.” He noted that the popular American studio’s motto is wildly different from other Take-Two developers like Gearbox or Firaxis Games. However, he believes that the studio’s philosophy fits with the kind of games and fans they offer to.
