Incident in Patna; Teacher Arrested
A keyword search led us to a Dainik Jagran article covering the incident. According to the report, a teacher in Patna’s Dhanarua region assaulted a student until he lost consciousness on July 2nd, 2022. The victim, a six-year-old named Dilkush, had approached the teacher during a class to inform him that he had completed his work. The teacher, identified as Chhotu Sir, became incensed by the interruption and launched a brutal attack on the young student. The accused individual was employed at Jaya Public School in Oiyara and also ran a coaching center there.
Upon the video gaining viral attention, an FIR was filed against the teacher, who initially went into hiding. However, he was eventually apprehended at his uncle Manoj Kumar’s residence in the Telhada police station area of Nalanda district.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the Patna Police have confirmed that a teacher from Jaya Public School in the Oiyara area has been taken into custody for brutally attacking a five-year-old student. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has also filed a separate case against the teacher under Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act.
In conclusion, this disturbing video is actually from Patna’s Dhanarua region and the accused teacher was arrested in July 2022.
