Team Deathmatch mode launching this month to be revealed by ‘Valorant’

Valorant is set to receive an exciting addition this month with the introduction of a new 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode, as confirmed by Riot Games.

This new Team Deathmatch mode will engage players in intense 5v5 battles across three specially designed maps dedicated to this game mode.

The game is divided into four timed stages, allowing players to select their loadout for each stage right from the beginning of the game or while in the spawn room. The maps are scattered with weapon spawners, recovery orbs, and ultimate orbs, with players respawning every 1.5 seconds.

The objective is simple – accumulate the highest number of kills, with the first team to reach 100 kills emerging victorious. Check out our first glimpse of this thrilling game mode:

This new mode will be launched alongside the arrival of Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 on June 27, presenting players with a range of exciting updates.

The in-game progression system of Valorant is also undergoing an overhaul, introducing new avenues for players to earn rewards. Daily missions, known as “Checkpoints,” have been added to the gameplay experience. Additionally, a new in-game currency called Kingdom Credits can be utilized to unlock accessories, participate in agent recruitment events, and much more.

Further details regarding the new Team Deathmatch mode and other upcoming features of the Valorant update will be unveiled closer to the official launch.

Moreover, Riot Games is currently working on a project described as a “big bet” and compared to Bungie’s popular shooter Destiny. The company is hiring a game designer for this upcoming multiplayer shooter with MMO progression elements, as indicated by a recent job listing.

These developments have sparked speculation that Riot Games may be developing their own version of a game similar to Destiny, given the requisite experience in “MMOFPS, competitive shooter, and season-driven ARPG games” for the game designer role.

In other news, a recent update in GTA Online has ignited rumors of an impending announcement for GTA 6.
