The Kingdom Community Transitions to Crafting Captivating In-Game Music

This game has an incredibly long-lasting appeal

Despite being over six years old, Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues to generate news and discussion. However, another game called Tears of the Kingdom might just surpass its reach. Alongside the mind-boggling devices and creations made by the community, these new videos showcase a unique creative element: music.

Exploring the Musical Creativity in Tears of the Kingdom

The community has discovered a fascinating way to create music in the game. By using stakes, lasers (beam emitters), and other objects, players can generate musical notes. These notes can then be combined through specific stake placements and item manipulation. It’s incredibly easy for anyone to try it out by accessing a Zonai device dispenser, gathering stakes, and experimenting in an open field.

For a short tutorial on this musical technique, check out this video by Twitter user bran8bit.

Since this discovery, the community has taken this knowledge and run with it. For example, Twitter user kabukichi00 used an existing in-game platform to perfectly recreate the popular “Song of Storms” from the Zelda series.

In another video by kody_botw, players can manually create music by lifting a laser cannon with the Ultrahand and even play along with the game’s background track.

Noteabletony takes it a step further by incorporating a minecart into their musical creation.

With all these amazing musical creations, it won’t be surprising if someone eventually records an entire symphony within the game.
