Tipster claims rumored new color for iPhone 15 line will not be available

According to a post by a reliable Twitter user (source: Forbes), the highly anticipated iPhone 15 Pro series, set to be unveiled and launched in September, will be available in four different colors. Surprisingly, none of these colors includes red, despite rumors suggesting a dark red variant for the iPhone 15 Pro. This comes as a surprise to many as Apple has traditionally partnered with the (PRODUCT)RED charity to release special red editions of their iPhones, with proceeds going towards fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa.
However, upon closer examination of the Twitter post, it is important to note that the absence of red does not necessarily mean that the (PRODUCT)RED variant won’t be available. The Twitter user simply stated that there would be four color options, none of which are red. In previous years, Apple has typically offered gold, silver, and space black as standard options, with a new fourth color introduced each year.

However, it is important to note that the absence of red among the four color options does not necessarily mean that the (PRODUCT)RED variant won’t be available. The comment made by the Twitter user specifically refers to the four regular color options, while the (PRODUCT)RED variant has historically been an additional, fifth option.

As for the features of the iPhone 15 series, all four models are expected to include the Dynamic Island display and a powerful 48MP wide camera. Additionally, USB-C charging will be introduced. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be powered by the 4nm A16 Bionic chipset, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature the 3nm A17 Bionic SoC, making them the only smartphones this year to be equipped with such advanced technology.

It is worth mentioning that the Twitter user, Unknownz21, has expressed disappointment in the iPhone 15 lineup, deeming it a mediocre upgrade. As a result, they recommend potential buyers to wait until the release of the iPhone 16 series in 2024.
