Trent Robinson, coach of the Roosters, stands up for James Tedesco following defeat against the Raiders

Roosters coach Trent Robinson has come to the defense of James Tedesco following the fullback’s struggles in aerial contests during the team’s recent loss to the Raiders. Despite being beaten twice in the air, Tedesco’s coach believes he is being too harsh on himself, stating that he has consistently displayed excellent defusal skills throughout his career. While the Roosters faced an 18-0 deficit in the early stages of the game, impressive performances from Joey Manu kept them in contention. However, a late penalty goal by Jarrod Croker ultimately sealed the win for the Raiders. Both teams are also dealing with new injury concerns, with Josh Papalii and Angus Crichton being forced off the field. As the Roosters find themselves in 12th place and the Raiders in fifth, they both face challenges in moving up the ladder.
