Hyundai is getting ready to launch the Alcazar facelift around the festive period and recently the three-row SUV was caught testing at a fuel station. According to reports, the South Korean manufacturer is looking to introduce the 2024 Alcazar in September. Here’s all we know about the Hyundai SUV facelift.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Design 

Based on the facelift Creta, the Alcazar will sport the new front grille with three horizontal slats, LED DRLs below the bonnet shut lines and a split headlight design with twin-pod LED headlights. Like the Creta, the lower lip of the front and the rear bumpers will be silver in colour. Speaking of paint schemes, the 2024 Alcazar will introduce new options like the test mule in Maroon or deep red colour. The side profile of the Alcazar remains predominantly the same apart from the newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. The test model’s rear was heavily cladded meaning that it should get a new set of LED tail light clusters.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Level 2 ADAS 

The Alcazar facelift will come equipped Level 2 ADAS suite like the Creta. It will offer 19 features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist for cars, pedestrians, cycles, blind spot collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, smart cruise control etc. The Alcazar will get six airbags, an emergency stop signal, hill start assist control, electronic stability, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic parking etc.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Engine 

The Alcazar will be available in three engine trims — 1.5-litre diesel, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The diesel churns out 114 bhp and 250 Nm, the NA produces 113 bhp and 143.8 Nm and the turbo with 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The Alcazar will rival the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.
