Rockwell Land Corp., owned by the Lopez family, announced a major investment program to expand its real estate projects beyond Metro Manila. The property developer unveiled its plans to create mixed-use and estate projects that will cover nearly 200 hectares in Cebu, Batangas, and Bulacan.
One of the new projects is a 100-hectare estate in Bulacan, touted as a “hillside escape and wellness retreat” primarily for the future residents. Another is an 85-hectare beach community in Lian, Batangas, which covers 700 meters of coastline and features two natural coves. “We are excited about our new vast 85-hectare beach property. It has 700 meters of coastline and clear waters, spread across two natural coves,” said Nestor Padilla, Chair and CEO of Rockwell Land. The first phase of residential lots for the beach community will be launched in 2024.
In Cebu, the company will launch its Rockwell Workspaces and a “unique retail concept,” as part of the mixed-use community. The IPI Center by Rockwell will span a total of 2.85 hectares and is located in the heart of Cebu City. “We are looking forward to our newest Cebu project with the Wong and Castillo families of International Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is located in the heart of the city,” added Padilla.
Rockwell Land has appointed Valerie Soliven as president and CEO, while Padilla takes on the role of chair. “Padilla and Soliven, both pioneers of Rockwell, are expected to lead the company to double-digit growth in the next few years,” the company said in a statement.
