Returning to social media, Misha Collins expressed his gratitude to the Bat-Brats for their unwavering support and shared his reflections on the conclusion of Gotham Knights.

A week after the news broke that Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams’ Gotham Knights was officially canceled and unable to find a new home, Misha Collins, who portrayed Harvey Dent (also known as Two-Face) in the series, took to social media to share his thoughts on the matter. Collins explained that his delayed response was due to his decision to take a week-long break from social media.

Collins wrote, “Just got back on the grid after unplugging for a week to hear the news that Gotham Knights was canceled by The CW and won’t be able to find a new home. I’m incredibly bummed and selfishly disappointed to not be able to fully explore my ‘villain arc,’ but I’m proud of the show we made and so grateful to have worked with such a talented and caring group of people” (see Collins’ full statement below).

He continued, “I’m especially proud that our story about fighting the good fight also provided opportunities to tell diverse and inclusive narratives. We need more representation on screen, and while this particular story may not move forward, I truly believe it has helped open the door wider for more characters from all backgrounds to shine. Thank you to the ‘Bat-Brats’ for your unwavering support. Although the show may be ending, I know this community will continue to illuminate the darkness in the real world. Onward!”
