Stree is set in the small town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, where an evil spirit named Stree abducts men during the festival season. The film is based on the urban legend of Nale Ba, which went viral in Karnataka in the 1990s.
In addition to Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao will be starring in “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi” with Janhvi Kapoor. This film marks their second collaboration after “Roohi.” On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar” with Ranbir Kapoor, which was a massive hit at the box office.
