PlayStation Plus Adds Doom Eternal, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood as Deluxe Games for April 2023

In the realm of new titles coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium catalog this month, Doom Eternal takes the lead. Beginning on April 18, higher-tier PS Plus subscribers will have the privilege of accessing Bethesda’s thrilling demonic shooter. Prepare to cycle through an arsenal of firearms, a flamethrower, a wrist-mounted blade, and more as you engage in an epic battle against diabolical monsters in a fiery, hellish landscape. Doom Eternal will be available to play on both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Adding to the excitement of the April catalog is the inclusion of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, a Pixar-like adventure that combines exploration in a charming fantasy world with fast-paced combat against Corrupt Spirits.

Although previously offered as a monthly free title for PS Plus members at all tiers, the acclaimed platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure is still being mentioned in the April Game Catalog by PlayStation.

If card games have never quite captured your interest, Slay the Spire might just change your mind. This game brings the complexity and challenge of roguelikes to the genre of card games, as players must strategically craft a unique deck to conquer formidable beasts and ultimately reach the pinnacle of the spire. Each run presents a fresh experience due to the ever-shifting layout, enemies, and relics that enhance your deck. Slay the Spire will be available to play on PS4.

From the esteemed house of Bethesda, we are also treated to two additional entries this month—Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. In Wolfenstein II, players assume the role of BJ Blazkowicz, also known as Terror-Billy, a brave Resistance member embarking on a mission to recruit courageous allies amidst a Nazi-controlled United States. Armed with an impressive arsenal, players fight their way through legions of Nazis, igniting hope for a second American Revolution. On the other hand, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood acts as a prequel to the series, pitting players against towering Super Soldiers, formidable shock troops, and a variety of abominable war creations constructed by the Nazis.
