Tiny Spelling Error Detected in Starfield

We are rapidly approaching the release of the highly anticipated sci-fi game, Starfield. Since its inception, fans have meticulously analyzed every screenshot, teaser, and available information, resulting in a comprehensive map of this yet-to-be-released title, consisting of a 1,000-page compendium.

It is safe to say that Starfield fans are extremely thorough. However, a recent discovery has cast doubt on the perfection of this RPG, as a minute spelling error has come to light.

Starfield: State of the at

On Reddit, user Ambitious_Back4748 has shared a screenshot from Starfield featuring a close-up of a substantial firearm. However, a specific element of this weapon has been circled. Upon zooming in, the words “State of the at Weapon Frame” can be seen. Presumably, it should read “Start of the art.”

Time to reconsider your pre-orders!

This may seem like a minuscule mistake, but it further exemplifies the keen attention dedicated gamers pay to marketing materials. To find the exact moment this screenshot is taken from, you can view the Starfield Direct video, which premiered a month ago.

However, you must be quick on the pause button to catch it. The close-up of the gun only lasts for a mere second around the 39:12 mark. It is astonishing that anyone noticed it at all, considering how easily it can be missed.

Whether Bethesda will address this spelling error remains uncertain. Nevertheless, it is unlikely to tarnish the immense hype surrounding one of the most significant releases of this generation. After all, gamers are not that particular, right?

Starfield is set to launch on September 6 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
