Preity Zinta says she couldn’t recognise Hrithik Roshan as Rohit from Koi Mil Gaya

Koi Mil Gaya, a film that was released on August 8, 2003, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Rekha in lead roles.

In a recent interview, Preity Zinta shared that she plays the title song of Koi Mil Gaya to help her children, Gia Zinta Goodenough and Jai Zinta Goodenough, fall asleep. She also mentioned that she initially couldn’t recognize her co-star Hrithik Roshan in his character, Rohit.  

During an interview with a leading news portal, Preity mentioned, “The title track, Koi Mil Gaya, is something I play when my kids have trouble falling asleep. It helps calm them down.” She also affectionately referred to her kids as “jadoo.”

Speaking about her co-star Hrithik in Koi Mil Gaya, she recalled, “I remember the first day of shoot, I was annoyed that Hrithik was late and suddenly someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Hrithik in Rohit’s look. He was completely unrecognizable, and I was pleasantly surprised to see him. It was then that I realized Hrithik had been on the set all along; I just didn’t recognize him.”

Koi Mil Gaya, produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, revolves around a young man named Rohit Mehra who has developmental disabilities. One day, he unexpectedly encounters an alien named Jaadoo, who grants him extraordinary abilities.
