Elon Musk claims Italian prime minister agreed on ‘epic location’ for Zuckerberg fight

The rumor of an MMA fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, two tech billionaires, first surfaced in June. This speculation was sparked by Meta’s announcement of its Twitter competitor, Threads.

Now, it appears that their fight has been confirmed, to some extent.

Although Musk’s tweet seems to confirm the fight, it is uncertain how reliable his statement is. However, Musk also tweeted that “all proceeds go to veterans,” without specifying the organization he and Zuckerberg are collaborating with. It would be a bold move to retract such a claim.

Both Musk and Zuckerberg appear eager for the fight. When Canadian UFC champion Georges St-Pierre offered to train Musk via Twitter, Musk accepted the offer. St-Pierre described Musk as “much stronger than the average man” when discussing their training in a video with MIT computer scientist Lex Friedman.

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg was seen training alongside Nigerian and New Zealand UFC champion Israel Adesanya, as well as Australian UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski in a tweet.

However, Musk mentioned the need for surgery before the fight can take place. He recently revealed that he requires surgery to address a problem with his shoulder blade and expects a recovery period of a few months.

As of now, no date, time, or specific location has been determined for the fight. Musk initially expressed a desire for it to take place in the Colosseum, but the feasibility of that idea remains unclear. Although Musk mentioned an “epic location” in his tweet, it is unknown whether he was referring to the Colosseum.
