Xiaomi has expanded its Pad 6 series with the introduction of the Pad 6 Max, unveiled at a launch event in China. Alongside the tablet, the Chinese manufacturer also unveiled the latest Xiaomi Band 8 Pro. The newest addition to the Pad 6 series features a 14-inch LCD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. On the other hand, the Band 8 Pro boasts a 1.74-inch AMOLED display and is equipped with a 289mAh battery that can be fully charged in just 80 minutes thanks to the wearable’s fast charging technology.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, Band 8 Pro: Price, Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is available in China starting at CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs. 43,800) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 46,000), while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is available for CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs. 50,400). The high-end variant with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage can be purchased for CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 55,000). The keyboard case and stylus can be bought separately for CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 9,150) and CNY 499 (approximately Rs. 5,700), respectively. The tablet comes in Black and Silver color options.
The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro is priced at CNY 399 (approximately Rs. 4,570) for the TPU wristband variant in Black and Coconut Ash colors, and CNY 499 for the leather wristband option in Harbor Blue shade.
Currently, both products are only available for purchase online and offline in China.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Max: Specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, the high-end variant in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, features a 14-inch 2.8k LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a sleek 6.53mm metal body. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The tablet runs on MIUI Pad 14, based on Android 13.
For capturing selfies and making video calls, there is a 20-megapixel front camera, while the rear houses a 50-megapixel camera. The keyboard is detachable, and the stylus is optional.

Xiaomi Band 8 Pro: Specifications
At the launch event, Xiaomi also introduced the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro wearable. The smart band features a rectangular-shaped dial with a 1.74-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 336X480 pixels. It offers a wide range of options, including over 100 watch faces and 10 straps to choose from.
The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro is equipped with various health monitoring features, such as heart rate tracking, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, sleep tracking, and female health tracking. It also includes an acceleration sensor, optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, and an ambient light sensor.
Connectivity options for the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro include GNSS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3. It is powered by a 289mAh battery, offering a 14-day lifespan on a single charge. The wearable also has a 5ATM rating for water resistance and can be connected to a device using the Mi Fitness app.
