Akshay Kumar expressed his excitement about reuniting with his former co-star Raveena Tandon for their upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle. The duo will be sharing the screen together after nearly two decades.
In an interview with a leading news portal, Akshay said, “We’re doing a film called Welcome to the Jungle for which we will begin shooting soon. And that song is a brilliant song and even Tip Tip Barsa Paani also. We’ve done maximum hit films together and I am looking forward to starting the shoot (of Welcome to the Jungle) after a long long time and we will be together on the same screen.”
Akshay and Raveena, who were once a couple and co-stars, have appeared in successful movies like Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Mohra. They have also shared the screen in popular songs such as Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast and Tip Tip Barsa Paani. Their last collaboration was in the movie Police Force An Inside Story in 2004.
Last month, the upcoming movie Welcome To The Jungle was officially announced through a captivating video that showcased the star cast performing acapella.
The film features Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, along with several other notable actors including Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, and more. Ahmed Khan is directing the movie, which is being produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz Nadiadwala. The release date for the film has been set for December 20, 2024, which falls during the Christmas season.
