India vs Australia highlights, 4th T20: Axar Patel’s triple strike and Ravi Bishnoi’s impressive spell helped India win the fourth T20I by 20 runs as the hosts completed a series win against Australia in Raipur.
Ravi Bishnoi provided the first breakthrough in the powerplay again to dismiss Josh Philippe. It was then the Axar show as he first got the big wicket of Travis Head. The left-arm spinner followed that with the wicket of Aaron Hardie and Ben McDermott.
Australia’s lower-order made a fist out of the run-chase but the Indian pacers did enough to complete the win.
Earlier, Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma struck some hefty blows to help India recover after the top four were dismissed inside the 14 overs. Rinku smashed a 29-ball 46 while Jitesh made a 19-ball 35 as India posted 174/9.
India were in trouble as Shreyas Iyer’s comeback to the side was shortlived while Suryakumar Yadav also followed suit quickly as Australia pegged the hosts back. Yashasvi Jaiswal had given India a good start in the powerplay.
