Arjun Bijlani Hospitalised After Severe Stomach Pain, To Undergo ‘Emergency Surgery’

Arjun Bijlani has been entertaining audiences with his performance in the daily soap Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti. Fans are enjoyihis portrayal of Dr.Shiv Kashyap, and the plot has kept them interested. However, the actor was recently forced to take a break from work following a health emergency. He was rushed to the hospital after experiencing considerable pain in the lower right side of his stomach due to appendicitis. Arjun shared a few updates with his fans and is expected to undergo surgery.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Arjun Bijlani has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Sources informed the publication that Arjun did not go to the sets earlier due to significant pain. Furthermore, Arjun shared his health update in a conversation with Zoom. He said, “I am admitted to the hospital due to severe stomach pain. I am right now going for an X-ray. The doctors are going to perform an emergency surgery tomorrow (March 9) morning.”

Moreover, Arjun Bijlani shared an image of his hospital bed on his Instagram Stories. Giving a glimpse of his injected hand, he wrote, “Jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai.”

Arjun has been busy shooting for his show Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti, where he stars opposite Nikki Sharma. The show premiered on July 3 and is a spin-off of the channel’s popular show, Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan. Produced by Prateek Sharma under Studio LSD Private Limited, the daily soap features Arjun Bijlani as Shiv and Nikki Sharma as Shakti Sharma. The plot revolves around how the two met and became each other’s support system. Recently, there were speculations about the show going off-air, but Nikki Sharma, in conversation with Pinkvilla, refuted all rumours.

Prior to his current role, Arjun Bijlani served as the host of the hit reality show, India’s Got Talent, a platform showcasing diverse talents across the nation. With a notable presence in the TV industry, he has appeared in several popular programs, including Left Right Left, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Naagin, Kavach, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, Ishq Mein Marjawan, and others. Additionally, he collaborated with his wife Neha Swami on the show Smart Jodi and also co-hosted Splitsvilla X4 with Sunny Leone.
