Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was reportedly spotted visiting a local farm shop this weekend. She looked ‘happy, healthy and relaxed’, The Sun reported Sunday citing a witness. The 42-year-old has been mostly absent since her abdominal surgery in January and has been the victim of several social media theories since.
Middleton, who is formally known as Princess Catherine, was reportedly seen with her husband Prince William as the two went around a mile from their residence on Saturday. The two watched their children take part in sports, the report further added.
The Sun quoted a witness as saying: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well. The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”
However, no pictures of the royal couple from their reported visit have emerged.
Meanwhile, several reports suggested that Middleton could take part in the Royal Family‘s traditional walk on Easter Sunday. On Sunday, she skipped the Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The Princess made her last public engagement on Christmas last year. She will reportedly return to duty only after April 17. The Daily Telegraph cited a palace source to report that there is ‘no confirmation either way’.
Earlier in the day, The Sunday Times reported that Middleton will address her health and absence when she is ‘ready’ to talk.
“They are at their most open when out interacting with members of the public and I can see a world in which the princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements. If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it,” the media outlet quoted a source.
