Vivo T3 to launch in India tomorrow and there is already a lot we know about the phone

Vivo will be launching the Vivo T3 smartphone in India tomorrow, March 21. But even before the smartphone could go official in India, we have a lot of details about the smartphone –– some of which are already confirmed and some are still speculated. So far, the chipset, design, battery, and camera details are already confirmed.

Leading up to the launch, details about the processor inside the Vivo T3 have been disclosed. The phone will come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. Apart from the chipset details, we also know that the Vivo T3 will be offered in Crystal Flake colour variant.

The teasers have also revealed that the Vivo T3 will feature a triple rear camera setup and incorporate turbo charge technology for rapid charging. However, specific charging speed details have not been disclosed yet. Comparatively, the previous model, Vivo T2, supported 44W fast charging, hinting at a similar capability for the Vivo T3.

The Vivo T3 is expected to succeed the Vivo T2, which was launched last year with a starting price of Rs 15,999, suggesting that the Vivo T3 might be priced similarly.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo T3 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The device will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo T3 will offer a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. Details about the third camera are yet to be confirmed but are speculated to be a wide-angle lens. The front camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel sensor for capturing selfies and making video calls. To keep the device running, the Vivo T3 will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging for quick recharging.

Competing in its segment, the Vivo T3 will face competition from devices like the Poco X6 Neo and Samsung Galaxy M34 5G.

The Vivo T3 launch follows the introduction of the company’s high-end phones, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. While the Vivo X-series represents Vivo’s premium lineup, the Vivo T-series offers more budget-friendly options. The official unveiling of the Vivo T3 is scheduled for March 21 in India, starting at 12 pm through a virtual launch event. Interested users can watch the launch event live on Vivo India’s official website and Flipkart.
