After the launch of Vivo T3X in India yesterday, the company is likely preparing for another smartphone launch in the market. While the company has yet to make the new official, there are rumours that Vivo may be working on bringing the Vivo V29e successor in India soon. Dubbed the Vivo V30e, the smartphone will join the existing V-series lineup that was launched in India this year, which includes the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro.
About the launch timeline, Vivo has yet to reveal anything officially about the smartphone, but looking at the India launch date of the Vivo V29e, the Vivo V30e would only launch in the country by August. Meanwhile, there are reports that claim that the smartphone launch will take place “very soon”. Even though nothing about the phone has been officially confirmed, we would especially suggest taking the launch timeline with a pinch of salt.
Leaks have also surfaced regarding the display and camera features of the upcoming Vivo V30e. As per a recent report, the Vivo V30e is expected to boast a 3D curved display and an exceptionally slim profile. It’s rumored to be the thinnest smartphone equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery. Additionally, leaks suggest that the rear camera setup will feature a Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. The phone may also inherit the signature aura light seen on its predecessors.
The Vivo V30e is rumored to come in two color variants: “Blue Green and Brown Red.” An intriguing detail revealed in leaked images is a departure from the rectangular camera module design of the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro. Instead, the V30e appears to sport a circular camera module situated at the top left of the device.
Previous reports have also speculated that the Vivo V30e could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and pack 8 GB of RAM. It’s expected to run on Android 14-based FunTouchOS.
As for the pricing, the Vivo V30e prices are yet to be confirmed. However, looking at the launch pricing of the V29e in India will give us some perspective about how the V30e could possibly be priced. The Vivo V29e was launched in two variants in India. Both featured 8 GB RAM, but one came with 128GB storage option, and the other with 256GB. In India, the starting price for the Vivo V29e was Rs 26,999, while the higher storage model was priced at Rs 28,999. The Vivo V30e could also be expected to priced similarly.
