Times Now/Telly Talk exclusively shared with its readers how the wedding was an intimate function. We got in touch with Faruqui’s Bigg Boss 17‘s co-contestants, Rinku Dhawan and Jigna Vora, who are also his close friends.
Rinku Dhawan reacts to Munawar Faruqui secretly tying the knot
During their stint on BB 17, Munawar’s journey saw many twists and turns. Quite a few allegations surrounding his personal life were made. Rinku, Jigna and Abhishek Kumar shared a close bond with the BB-17 winner.
Speaking to us, Rinku shares how she had talked to Munawar just a few days ago, but he did not hint about his wedding. Rinku says, “Meri personally toh baat nahi huee hai, par agar sach mei uski shaadi hue hai toh main bahaut khush hu for Munawar ke liye. (I haven’t gotten the chance to talk to him personally. If the news about his wedding is true, I am really happy for him).”
Continuing further, Dhawan says, “Finally, usse apna koi sathi milla. Honestly, it comes as a good shock and surprise. Agar uss ne sab secret rakh bhi hai toh sach kahu isse secret nahi kehte. It is an intimate thing. Dekho, ek toh Munawar ka parivar itna bada hai, with all his popularity, woh bulane jaega toh adha Mumbai waha par hoga. (Finally, he has someone he can address as his life partner. It comes as a shock and a good surprise. It is an intimate thing. You can’t call it a secret; marriage is an intimate thing. His family is already so big and with his popularity, if he starts calling people, then half of Mumbai will turn up in attendance).”
The Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki actress shares what gift she plans to give the newlyweds. She says, “Jaise hi Munawar ki aur se confirm ho jae, toh blessings kya gift banta hai. Baki meri 2-3 din pehle baat zaroor hue thi jab woh hospital mei admit tha, toh this news comes as a surprise shock.”
Jigna Vora called Rinku after hearing the news
Rinku, who sounded happy for Munawar’s new beginnings, says, “May he have a good life ahead. Bigg Boss gang ki baat karu toh, it was me, Jigna Ji aur Abhishek. Jigna also called me and sounded shocked and surprised.”
We further quizzed Rinku about her conversation with Jigna, to which she shares, “Jigna was as shocked and surprised as me. She told me that she did call Munawar, but he did not receive her call. I said to her, ‘ki agar shadi huee hai toh woh busy hoga na aur agar nahi hue hai toh bhi woh kaha itni jaldi uthta hai.”
