iOS 18 Public Beta Release Date (Expectations)
The company typically unveils the iOS 18 beta update after the third developer beta update at the event. According to 9To5Mac, the company could release the iOS 18 public beta in the third week of July (the week of July 15). The calculated guess is based on the previous release timeline of iOS. For context, iOS 17 and iOS 16’s first public beta were released on July 12, 2023 and July 11, 2022.
In a second instance, CNET speculates the public beta of iOS 18 could arrive as early as July 8, 2024. If Apple considers a four-week interval between the developer build and the public beta, the release date could fall between July 8 and July 10. If the company plans a six-week time frame, the date could fall after July 20.
