Vicky Kaushal Recalls Fasting With Katrina Kaif on Their First Karva Chauth: ‘She Asked Google…’

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif secretly dated for about two years before tying the knot in December 2021. In a recent interaction, the ‘Sam Bahadur’ star opened up about fasting with his actress-wife during their first Karva Chauth after marriage. Vicky recalled how he was absolutely fine while Katrina was getting restless.

During an interaction on Film Companion, when Vicky was asked if fasting was difficult for him, he responded, “I am okay with keeping a fast. As actors, we go through diet restrictions and all that so being an actor helps. But she is a Google queen. She asked Google when she’ll be able to see the moon. Google said 8:30 pm. I told her Moon won’t listen to Google, it will come when it wants to. Google can’t predict the movement of clouds. That delay was there and she was like, ‘It hasn’t come.’ I said it’s not like I am calling it. It will come when it wants to. She was completely fine till that time that Google set, 8:30 pm, after that she was like now I am feeling hungry.”

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina recalled her experience of fasting on her Karva Chauth. She said, “But, the sweetest thing was that, of course, Vicky was also fasting. I’m sure he wouldn’t have (let me do it alone), and it’s not like I asked him to do it all. I didn’t say anything. He did it himself, so that was sweet and of course, our, his parents were also over, so it was our first because it was our first year of marriage, there’s puja which happens and all that. So, that was lovely.”

Of late, Katrina has been making headlines for her pregnancy rumours. While at the trailer event, referring to the pregnancy rumours, Vicky was asked about “the good news” of his real life, to which he replied, “Abhi ke liye aap Bad Newz enjoy kar lo, jo hum la rahe hain. Jab uska (good news) time aayega, we won’t be shying away from giving that news.”
