Shishir Vayttaden ends decade-long stint with CAM to join Khaitan & Co along with 2 other Partners

Shishir Vayttaden is slated to join Khaitan & Co after a ten-year association with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM).

Two other CAM Partners – K Aishwarya and Aditi Singhvi – will also join the Corporate and M&A practice at Khaitan & Co.

Confirming the news, Senior Partner at Khaitan & Co Haigreve Khaitan said,

“We are delighted to welcome Shishir and his team to our Corporate and M&A practice. Shishir’s significant experience in dealmaking will further our capabilities in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. I am confident that their integration into our firm will be seamless, and they will contribute meaningfully to our continued success.”

On Vayttaden’s exit, CAM Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

“I wish him all the best in life.”

Vayttaden specialises in public and private M&A and Private Equity transactions. He is regular external counsel to several bulge bracket private equity funds and to many Fortune 500 companies.

He is a 2005 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. In 2014, he joined the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner and after the firm’s 2015 split, he stayed on with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

He is also a best-selling fiction author of the book Kill the Lawyers, which was published by Bloomsbury last year.

Aishwarya, who is also an NLSIU graduate (2010), has more than 13 years of experience and holds a Master’s in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford in 2014.

Singhvi is a 2011 graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur and has previously worked at AZB & Partners.
