Samsung’s highly anticipated 2023 foldable Unpacked event is set to take place on Wednesday, July 26th.
This event comes just six months after the previous Unpacked event, where Samsung unveiled the impressive Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Book3 series.
What makes this event unique is that it will be the first Unpacked event held in Samsung’s home nation, Seoul, South Korea.

Based on the information we have, Samsung is expected to reveal their latest devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, during the event.
The Z Flip 5 is anticipated to have a larger cover display with enhanced functionality compared to its predecessors. It is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 3,700mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Z Fold 5 is not expected to receive major upgrades. It is likely to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a 4,400mAh battery, and the same size displays as its predecessor – a 7.6-inch inner folding screen and a 6.2-inch outer display, both with 120Hz refresh rates.
In addition to the foldables, Samsung is also expected to launch new variants of the Galaxy Watch at the event. These include the Galaxy Watch 6 in 40mm and 44mm sizes with 300mAh and 425mAh batteries respectively, as well as the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro in 42mm and 46mm sizes with the same battery capacities.
Furthermore, Samsung will likely unveil their new tablet lineup, which is rumored to include the Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra. Leaked information suggests that the Tab S9 will feature an 11-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the S9+ will sport a 12.4-inch panel with the same refresh rate, and the Tab S9 Ultra will have a 14.6-inch panel also with a 120Hz refresh rate.
