NewJeans have been taking over with their music. And now, the K-pop girl group is set to sing an OST for the upcoming A Time Called You. The show stars Jeon Yeo Been and Ahn Hyo Seop, Kang hoon and others in pivotal roles.
NewJeans’ OST for A Time Called You was featured in the show’s trailer. This will mark the group’s first OST for a K-drama. The track is a remake of Kim Jong Seo’s song Beautiful Restriction.
A Time Called You is a time travel drama about a woman, grieving her boyfriend’s passing, who travels back in time to 1998 and wakes up as a high school student. Here, she meets a student who looks like her deceased boyfriend. The show’s logline reads, “A Time Called You is a mysterious romance, centering around Jun-hee, the protagonist who is grappling with the loss of her boyfriend 1 year ago. Miraculously transported back to 1998, she encounters Si-heon, an individual bearing an uncanny resemblance to her late love, and his friend In-gyu.”
