It is often debated whether AI is a boon or bane for technology. The discussion recently fuelled up on several social media platforms after Grok-2, introduced by Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI, came up with a video featuring Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, the two contestants for US Presidential elections, in a romantic storyline.

Elon Musk’s AI tool, Grok-2 is available to the premium subscribers of X (formerly known as Twitter). It allows users to create images and videos that typically violate content restrictions imposed by other AI tools.

Users time to time indulge in generating funny contents through the AI tool. As the US Presidential election approaches near, users are now generating multiple video clips featuring Trump and Harris and sharing them on social media platforms.

In the 15-second clip, which was shared by users on X as well as on Instagram and has now gone viral, two characters depicting Donald Trump and Kamala Harris can be seen kissing, holding hands and strolling along beachside. The video also shows Harris getting pregnant and having a baby boy who takes after Trump.

Earlier this week, an image of Elon Musk himself in various controversial scenarios, including being walked on a leash by Trump and holding a sign reading – “I AM A PEDO!,” surfaced on the micro blogging site.

Meanwhile, the AI-generated video of Trump and Harris has triggered a meme fest on the internet. Many users expressed concerns over the potential of the AI took while other indulged in cracking jokes and making fun.

“AI may not destroy the world. But it’s gonna make things real weird 😂, commented an Instagram user on the video post shared by Artificial Intelligence News.

“I think both side would agree on this as gross 🤮,” another wrote.

Another user commented, “Nice red nail polish, Donald.”

“This is one of the Dangers of AI. Using people’s image and likeness in uncharacteristic ways. This will become a crime soon and it should be! No limits to how dark and perverted this kind of stuff can get. Just watch! If it is artificial, it cannot therefore be intelligent! Intelligence has to be authentic!” a user wrote.

Ever since Grok-2 was launched, X has been seeing an influx of bizarre and sometimes disturbing images, many of which involve well-known public figures including US President Joe Biden.

Grok-2 was also used to generate politically charged images, such as Biden wearing an adult diaper and another image showing Musk with a rifle in a classroom, surrounded by graphic violence.

Even as the widespread concerns over the role of AI in circulating political misinformation, Musk has praised Grok as the “most fun AI in the world,” highlighting its lack of censorship.

It has also sparked concerned over the potential of the AI took to spread misinformation and fake and disturbing contents at a time when the US Presidential election is round the corner. However, Musk’s has been praising the tool’s uncensored feature, calling it the most “uncensored model of its class yet.”
