In a recent vlog uploaded on her YouTube channel, Alia Bhatt offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from her upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.’ This seven-minute video showcases the breathtaking locations of Kashmir where the song was shot. The vlog also features a special appearance by Karan Johar, who apologizes to Alia for the challenge of wearing chiffon sarees in freezing temperatures.
The actor titled her vlog ‘My First Song Vlog… All about #TumKyaMile’ accompanied by multicolored heart emojis.
Within the video, Alia reveals that this was the first song she shot after giving birth to her daughter, Raha. It showcases her getting her make-up done and preparing for the shoot alongside the crew in the snow-capped regions of Kashmir.
Towards the end of the video, Alia and Karan Johar are seen sitting inside a car as the song shoot wraps up. They discuss their favorite sarees from the song, with Karan choosing the multicolored ‘kulfi’ saree and the lilac green one, while Alia picks the lilac green and black saree.
Alia recalls how Ranveer’s puffer jacket kept getting in her way during the shoot. Karan comments, “Note to be made. Ranveer was in a puffer jacket, and she was in a chiffon saree. It may sound unfair, but there is so much romance in a beautiful saree!”
When Alia mentions that she wore chiffon sarees, Karan apologizes, saying, “Oh my God yeah! I may have tortured you. I am sorry. I am sorry.”
