Alia Bhatt, the popular Bollywood actress, recently reflected on the transformative journey of her life in the past ten years. Alia fondly recalled a time in her career when she was willing to go to any lengths for work. However, her priorities have now shifted.
Alia, who made her entry in Bollywood with the movie “Student Of The Year” and went on to become one of the most sought-after stars in the industry, celebrated her ten-year milestone by getting married to Ranbir Kapoor and embracing motherhood with the birth of her daughter Raha Kapoor.
As she looks back at her journey, Alia shared how her work priorities have evolved. In an interview with Femina, Alia stated, “Crossing a decade in cinema has brought significant changes to my life. There was a time when I was willing to sacrifice everything, including sleep and family time, to work incessantly. However, now I have a family – a husband and a daughter. I also realize the importance of spending time with my parents, my sister, and my friends, which I couldn’t do for the past ten years. So, I have consciously made the decision to strive for balance and be present in all aspects of my life.”
She further explained, “I have learned to find balance by not constantly being on my phone. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail miserably, but I try my best to disconnect from my phone when I have free time.”
Alia’s next project is Karan Johar’s directorial venture, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” where she reunites with her “Gully Boy” co-star Ranveer Singh. The film also features Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan. It is scheduled to release in theaters on July 28.
