Reliance Jio is set to launch a new laptop this month, as revealed by a teaser on e-commerce site Amazon. The JioBook laptop, with the tagline ‘Your ultimate learning partner’, is scheduled to debut on July 31, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav.
The upcoming JioBook laptop is expected to be an updated version of the one launched in October last year. Priced below ₹20,000, the 2022 JioBook was exclusively available at Reliance Digital store.
The Amazon teaser provides some insight into the new JioBook. It will feature the same design as the previous model, with a compact form factor and a stylish blue color. Designed for productivity, entertainment, and gaming, the JioBook will support 4G connectivity and be equipped with a powerful octa-core processor for smooth multitasking and high-definition video streaming. Additional specifications and features will be unveiled during the official launch event on July 31.
According to the teaser, the new JioBook will be remarkably lightweight, weighing approximately 990 grams. It will offer a full day’s worth of battery life. The previous model featured an 11.6-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage expandable up to 128GB. It also had a 2-megapixel front camera, JioOS, and an embedded Jio SIM card for 4G LTE connectivity.
