The tension started when Salman Khan mentioned Abhishek Malhan’s comment about a “wildcard contestant” in front of his mother, Dimple Malhan. During Family Week, when Malhan’s mother entered the house to support her son, Malhan stated that he didn’t believe a wildcard contestant deserved to win. In an attempt to clarify the situation, Elvish Yadav addressed the negative perception surrounding their friendship.
After the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the duo discussed the incident. Malhan revealed to Yadav that his mother informed him about the negative PR on social media that started after Yadav joined Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, Yadav denied the accusations, and both agreed to resolve the issue once they exit the show.
This disagreement divided Elvish Yadav’s fans on Twitter. While some criticized Malhan for his statement, others supported him. One fan tweeted, “Abhishek said he can’t consider a wildcard to be the winner, but if Elvish wins, he will still be happy. Also, Abhishek’s mother told him about the negative PR.
