BYD India appeals to its consumers by extending the initial price offer on its Atto 3 Dynamic, to celebrate 11 years of electric mobility in India.
BYD India introduced the first electric bus on August 20, 2013 in Chennai. It was the first purely electric bus introduced in the country. In order to commemorate its journey of 11 years since that day, BYD extends its introductory pricing offer on its Atto 3 Dynamic. The company had updated the pricing range of the Atto 3 to make it more affordable as it now starts from Rs 24.99 lakh.
The updated BYD Atto 3 was launched in July 2024 and has recorded over 600 bookings for its Cosmos Black edition within a month. The electric SUV is available in three new variants- Dynamic, Premium and Superior with the price range starting from Rs 24.99 lakh for Dynamic and ending at Rs 33.99 lakh for the Superior variant.
The Dynamic variation comes with a smaller battery pack and hence, is available at a more affordable price of Rs 24.99 lakh, nearly 9 lakh lower than the Superior variant.

BYD Atto 3: Specs
The Electric SUV is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor standard across all the three variants, which provides a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm.
BYD Auto’s USP lies in its Blade Battery and the Atto 3 also possesses the same. However, the three variants of BYD Atto 3 supply different battery performance. The Dynamic variant has a 49.92 kWh battery that can be charged from 10% to 80% in 50 minutes using a DC Charger while an AC charger may charge it in 8 hours. On the other hand, the Premium and Superior versions are equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery that can be recharged upto 80% in a similar time frame of 50 minutes by a DC charger while an AC charger may require 9.5 to 10 hours to charge it.
BYD Atto 3: Performance
BYD Atto 3’s Dynamic variant can accelerate up to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds while the Premium and Superior Variants may achieve the same in 7.3 seconds. According to ARAI, Atto 3’s Dynamic variant has a driving range of 468 kilometers while the Premium and Superior versions can achieve up to 521 kilometers, providing a power-packed performance.
