Devastated Krishan Kumar Reaches Daughter Tishaa Kumar’s Funeral, Bhushan Kumar Offers Support; Watch

Actor-turned-producer Krishan Kumar was visibly shaken at his daughter Tishaa Kumar’s funeral, which took place in Mumbai on Monday. Tishaa, who was also Bhushan Kumar’s cousin, was battling cancer and died on July 18. She was 20 years old. On Monday, her mortal remains were brought to Mumbai. In a video surfaced online, a shattered Krishan was seen making his way to the funeral.

He was joined by a few family members and friends, who held him close as they made their way to the funeral. The paparazzi also spotted Tishaa’s mother Tanya Kumar. She broke down as she participated in the funeral rituals. Bhushan Kumar was also seen at the venue, offering his uncle and aunt all the support they needed in this difficult time.

Several Bollywood stars including Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh were seen offering their tributes before the funeral procession.

On Friday morning, a T-Series spokesperson issued a statement confirming the death and said, “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family’s privacy is respected.”

However, one of her last public appearances was in November 2023, when she attended the premiere of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal. Back then, she was seen posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet with her father, Krishan Kumar.
