As her name suggests, Drifter is a nomadic character with unique combat abilities. Her primary attack, Blunt Force, is a powerful brawler move that swiftly dispatches enemies, leaving behind valuable scraps. Risk Of Rain Returns: Drifter
Introducing Drifter, the first new survivor in Risk of Rain Returns. This resourceful brawler found herself aboard the ill-fated Contact Light, equipped with unique skills to confront the treacherous inhabitants of Petrichor V. Drifter’s power lies in her ability to utilize Scrap, generated through her primary ability, Blunt Force. While others may view Scrap as worthless, Drifter sees it as a valuable resource.
- Blunt Force is a 3-hit combo melee attack that strikes enemies in a wide area, generating Scrap upon successful hits. Collect these scraps to fuel Drifter’s more devastating abilities.
- Suffocate, Drifter’s Utility ability, also fills her meter without the need to scavenge scrap. This powerful melee strike stuns enemies and deals 200% damage, instantly converting weakened enemies into additional Scrap.
- Once you’ve accumulated enough Scrap, unlock Drifter’s other two abilities, including Cleanup, her secondary attack. Cleanup unleashes a burst of piercing projectiles, utilizing your Scrap as ammunition. It’s like a trash-powered shotgun that obliterates even the toughest foes.
Finally, Drifter’s special ability, Salvage, elevates her to a true powerhouse on the battlefield. When her Scrap meter reaches 75% capacity, she can generate 4 temporary items, benefitting not only herself but also her allies. If your teammates haven’t had much luck with chance shrines, create temporary items to bolster their strength before facing the formidable challenges that lie ahead.
