Elon Musk announced on social media that the highly anticipated cage fight between himself and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be live-streamed on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
These influential figures in the social media industry have been provoking each other to engage in a mixed martial arts cage match in Las Vegas since June.
Musk stated on X, “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will be donated to charity for veterans.” However, he did not provide any further details.

Earlier on Sunday, Musk revealed on X that he spends his day lifting weights and preparing for the fight. He even brings weights to work since he has little time for regular workouts.
When a user on X questioned the purpose of the fight, Musk replied by stating, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
Meta did not respond to a request for comment on Musk’s post by Reuters.
The excitement began when Musk declared on June 20 that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who is skilled in jiujitsu.
The following day, Zuckerberg, who has shared pictures of his victories in matches on his company’s Instagram platform, requested Musk to “send location” for the proposed fight. Musk responded by suggesting “Vegas Octagon,” referring to a venue for mixed martial arts (MMA) championship bouts.
If the cage fight becomes a reality, Musk pledged to begin training.
